Candi joined us (officially) this past year as our Manager and Riding Instructor/Clinician. She works our shows to assure they are as fun and instructive as possible. Candi comes to us with years of equestrian experience (showing, training, managing) and has a much-appreciated smile & good nature. We, as well as you, can rely on her knowledge, honesty (sometimes to a fault) and integrity to assure your horses needs are met.
Candi offers riding lessons (and clinics) for ages 5 on up! English, western, natural horsemanship or show prep. She has a couple lesson horses available - but you're WELCOME to haul-in your own horses!!
Call Candi at 509-218-9166, for ANY questions about Boarding, Lessons, Training - or ANYTHING business-related for the stable. She'll strive to meet your needs in a timely and helpful manner!
Mercedies lives in the residence at the facility, and she also does our stall cleaning and feeding. She's been a client of Lady Raven Stables for some time - and we're excited about her joining our team for 2010! We spent many hours selecting just the right people to suit your needs as well as ours. She will feed and care for your horses and work to make this an enjoyable experience for all. Mercedes comes from horse background, she is a veterinary Assistant and has the experience to know and understand your horses care and needs. Please feel free to inquire if you you have special needs for your horse.
We offer finish work, show training, etc - but do NOT offer Colt Starting Under-Saddle.
PLEASE CALL Candi @ 509-218-9166 with questions or to schedule training.
Ray, is the Boss... when LeeAnn says so. He's on the right, next to LeeAnn, that's Alex and Adam our sons on the left.
Ray has been around horses most of his life, he has no formal accomplishments other than the love of the animals and "no fear" (the term was coined for his personality type). Ray loves the aspect of keeping your horses and making this a fun and active facility and a great experience.
In this 2007 photo Adam and the Concord Blue Devils had just won the Drum Corp International Championships at Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena. Alex joined Adam and toured with the Blue Devils the summer of 2008 and missed the Championships by 0.05 points. Adam aged out and Alex and the Blue Devils won the 2009 DCI Championships with one of the highest scores ever.
Our eldest son Josh lives with his wife Monica and our two Grandchildren Alyssa & Andrew in California. We don't get to see them near enough. Josh and Monica just bought their first home, quite an accomplishment for young people in Southern CA these days.
LeeAnn grew up with horses and has trained and won many competitions in Barrel Racing and Endurance riding. Her successes include many trophies for local competitions as a teenager. Her barrel horse Charley left us on 9-11. This is truly her dream come true to be able to cater to the needs of the horse community in Spokane. She controls the bottom line, so make sure she's happy.
